Makenzie Jacks, Matthew Wampler, Elizabeth Smith

Congratulations to Mckenzie Jacks, Matthew Wampler, and Elizabeth Smith, who won first place in the Industrial Engineering Career Pathway Showcase. They designed, built, and added an ABS (anti-lock brake system) trainer to an existing system with the help of Faith Meacham, a student from Project Lead the Way, who measured and printed an insert usng a 3D printer that enabled the trainer to function. This team has been invited to compete at the SkillsUSA National Conference in Louisville, KY in June 2017. Ana Patricia Tomas, a CTEC culinary arts student, and Michael Rimer, a former CTEC student, also competed and earned awards at this competition.
