Free AU Community Workshop April 25
The Alamance-Burlington Schools' Autism Team is hosting a free workshop open to the public Successful Transitions for Students with Autism Spectrum Disorders on Tuesday, April 25th from 5:00 to 7:00 pm at Graham Middle School.
Guest presenter is Ann Palmer Director of Advocacy and Chapter Support for the Autism Society of NC, and parent of a son with autism. Palmer coordinates over 50 parent support groups across the state.
The event will include information on strategies to help prepare students with autism, teachers and parents for successful school transitions at all ages such as new classrooms and classmates, new teachers, new schools and life after high school.
Graham Middle School is located at 311 East Pine Street in Graham. The community is invited to attend; however, child care will not be provided.

Redistricting Proposal - February 2017
View the Redistricting Proposal that will be voted on at the February 27, 2017 Board of Education meeting. The Board of Education meeting will be held in the auditorium at the Alamance-Burlington Schools Central Office at 1712 Vaughn Road, Burlington, beginning at 6:30 p.m.
Large maps are posted in each high school lobby for review and also in the lobby at the Alamance-Burlington Schools Central Office.

Bus Driver Training Classes
Alamance-Burlington Schools is hosting 5 Bus Driver Training classes through the remainder of the 2016-2017 school year. The classes are sponsored by the North Carolina Department of Motor Vehicles Division of School Bus and Traffic Safety
Each series of classes will be held in the auditorium at the Alamance-Burlington Schools Administrative Office located at 1712 Vaughn Road in Burlington.
Each class schedule is as follows:
- Day 1 class is held from 8:30 am - 4:30 pm
- Day 2 class is held from 8:30 am - 3:30 pm
- Day 3 class is held from 8:30 am - 2:00 pm
